One of the most important parts of being a good leader is looking ahead. So, as we close out 2011 and move on into 2012 I thought it fitting to look ahead to where I want to lead the PGG Team in this next year.
For myself, I desire to continue to grow as a leader. I look forward to becoming better at recognizing and acknowledging A+ performance by my Team Members.
A major part of this is learning to effectively understand and communicate my own expectations for the team as well as learning to ask the right questions to help me know what the team needs and expects from me.
One major project that I would like to see accomplished on the “soft” side of operations is to polish our training systems at PGG.
We have already come so far in creating a positive culture and I want to build on that by helping the team to set clear and concise work standards to which we can all hold each other accountable. In continuation, I look forward to getting the team involved in establishing new, explicit training procedures to ensure that our culture is quickly adopted by any new PGG Team Members.
